Ignore the Doubt
Last night was a bad night for me. During my commute home from work I was suddenly overwhelmed with despair. As I've stated in a previous post, I'm working out some ideas on innovation and creative processes at work. Over the last week, the projects I've tried my ideas with are going sideways.
When something goes wrong, I feel like it's my fault. As if I did something wrong, or my ideas are a complete waste of time.
You can call it Resistance, or an attack.
You can say that I must be doing something right. All I can say is it, doesn't feel like it.
I keep coming back to a statement from a phone call with Ben Arment...
Ignore the doubt.
I'm putting this on my iPhone and iPad as a constant reminder. Maybe it will help me. Maybe it'll help you as you pursue your dream.
